Job summary

YWCA Greater Harrisburg is seeking a full-time Permanent Supportive Housing Case Manager to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. The role focuses on comprehensive case management and housing stabilization for individuals and families experiencing homelessness through HUD-funded programs, with advocacy, crisis intervention, and resource coordination to secure and maintain housing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field or higher.
• Two years' experience with Associate Degree or four years' experience with an associate degree.
• In-depth knowledge of the social welfare system.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving history, and reliable personal vehicle. Proof of insurability may also be required.
• Current FBI, criminal, and child abuse clearance or the ability and willingness to obtain.

YWCA Greater Harrisburg is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Permanent Supportive Housing Case Manager to join our team.

This position provides comprehensive case management and housing stabilization services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness through HUD-funded programs. This position assists clients in securing and maintaining safe, affordable housing by providing advocacy, crisis intervention, resource coordination, and individualized support. The Permanent Housing Case Manager develops partnerships with landlords and community agencies, ensures compliance with HUD regulations and grant requirements, maintains accurate documentation and reporting, and promotes long-term housing stability and self-sufficiency.

Position Details

• Hours: 37.5 hour work week; Monday-Friday 8am-4pm; with a rotational on-call schedule.
• Salary: $20/hr.
