Job summary

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a compassionate Housing Advocate to support families toward stable housing and better quality of life. You will manage cases, conduct outreach, and connect clients with critical resources to address housing, health, and self-sufficiency challenges.

The role involves enrollment, outreach, advocacy, and data reporting for housing stabilization programs, with collaboration across teams and partners to meet grant requirements and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in human services or a related field.
• Knowledge of community resources and service systems.
• Strong assessment, advocacy, and case management skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized case management for housing stabilization.
• Conduct home visits to assess living conditions.
• Connect clients with housing programs and community resources.
• Maintain confidential client records and HMIS data.
• Collaborate with partners to improve access to services.
