Job summary

A community service organization seeks two Housing Retention Specialists to engage and assess clients in the Encampment Resolution Project. Responsibilities include supporting clients in maintaining housing and improving their well-being through various services and programs. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, with at least one year of case management experience preferred. The position offers a salary ranging from $25 to $28 per hour and includes benefits, with work hours Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year case management experience or related professional licensure or certification.
• Knowledge of HMIS and Housing First model preferred.
• Experience with vulnerable populations and understanding of poverty.
• Ability to develop collaborative goals towards self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

• Engage and assess clients to help maintain housing.
• Provide supportive services to promote community integration.
• Assist clients in relocating to more appropriate housing if needed.
• Transport clients to appointments and assist with lease obligations.
