Job summary

A community organization in California is hiring for the position of Housing Navigator. This role involves working closely with homeless individuals to secure permanent housing and provide case management support. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in a related field. Benefits include a salary of $25-$28 per hour, medical and dental coverage, and paid time off. Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of non-profit or related experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in a social services setting with knowledge of case management systems.
• Experience working with homeless individuals and families is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determines housing barriers, preferences, needs and goals with clients.
• Administers the VI-SPDAT to match clients to housing through Coordinated Entry.
• Maintains accurate documentation of service objectives and outcomes.
