Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a Housing Support Specialist to coordinate housing services, conduct client interviews, and assist participants with GHV/HCV applications and voucher processes.

The role involves communicating with participants, case managers, and property owners; ensuring timely voucher issuance and data reporting; and maintaining compliance with program requirements. CPR and SAMA certification are valued assets.

Qualifications

• CPR and SAMA certification required.
• Experience coordinating housing programs is a plus.
• Ability to manage participant records and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake, process GHV/HCV applications, and provide documentation to participants and case managers.
• Schedule interviews, obtain income verifications, compute rents, and manage recertifications.
• Explain policies to owners in GHV and HCV programs.
• Ensure vouchers are issued timely and managed after issuance.
• Assist voucher holders with finding acceptable units.
• Schedule and transition eligible participants to HCV after the GHV year.
• Explain rights and responsibilities of the GHV/HCV programs to stakeholders.
• Collect and submit data for program evaluation and grant reporting.
• Track move-ins and provide monthly reports to the RRSS Program Manager.
• Monitor regulatory changes and attend required trainings.
• CPR and SAMA certification.
• Other responsibilities as requested.
