Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in business administration or a related field is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of prior experience as Property Manager is required; or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered.
• Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages.
• Ability to travel to all reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction, and manage day-to-day operations of Housing Offices within the Seminole Tribe of Florida, including coordinating housing property operations, maintenance, and administrative functions.
• Negotiate, develop, and prepare leases, permits, contracts, and other property agreements for the Housing Department.
• Coordinate and monitor the performance of contractors and investigate and resolve tenant complaints when services are not properly provided.
• Supervise and schedule the work of Property Staff.
• Ensure housing services to Tribal Members with excellent customer service while complying with housing policies and the Tribal Building Code for Residential Construction.
• Ensure that quality financial and housing education is available for Tribal Members.
