Job summary

The Seminole Tribe of Florida Housing Department is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support the procurement of supplies, equipment, labor and services for housing programs. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and close collaboration with the team to ensure timely, compliant acquisitions.

Responsibilities include managing grants from HUD and other sources, building strong relationships with vendors and contractors, and supporting travel to Reservations across South Florida.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software packages, including Excel.
• Ability to travel to all reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Procure supplies, equipment, labor and services for Housing Department.
• Perform administrative duties related to acquisitions and grants.
• Solicit and maintain HUD and other grant relationships.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and tribal members.
