Job summary

Father Bill’s & MainSpring is seeking a Housing Support Staff member to oversee day-to-day operations of housing projects across multiple sites in the South Shore, MA. The role focuses on facility and tenant behavior, with entry to participant homes and transport as needed, requiring an associate degree in human services or 1–3 years’ related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in human services or related field, or 1-3 years experience in the field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of new or revised policies and protocols related to tenants.
• Maintain privacy of guest/program participant information according to policies and laws.
• May access confidential guest information and share only with those needing to know for job responsibilities.
• Report concerns about privacy policies and procedures to management without retaliation.
• Participate in staff, agency, triage and other meetings.
• Provide oversight of housing sites and maintain a safe environment for tenants.
• Maintain knowledge about services in Permanent Supportive Housing and coordinate with staff to adjust services as needed.
• Work with Case Managers to ensure policy and tenant protocol consistency.
• Establish and monitor tenant recordkeeping (guest files, logs, incident reports).
• Assess situations involving staff, tenants, and building operations and make referrals as needed.
• Some transporting of participants may be necessary; use of emergency/crisis services when needed.
• Meet with tenants to ensure program compliance and address non-compliance behavioral concerns.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all interactions and maintain clear, respectful communication.
