Job summary

Community Housing Innovations, Inc. (CHI) is seeking a Housing Supervisor to oversee housing packet review for DHS programs and ensure accurate submissions to HOME, CAPS, CURRENT, and other DHS units.

The role guides a team of housing and entitlement specialists and drives performance and compliance. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in human services (Master’s preferred), 2+ years in homelessness or housing, and at least 1 year in supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least two years of experience in homelessness or housing, with 1 year in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English proficiency; bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure accuracy of housing packets for submission to HOME, CAPS, CURRENT, and DHS programs.
• Lead and train a team of housing, employment, recreation, and entitlement specialists; monitor performance goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with governmental agencies and community partners.
• Monitor program compliance with regulations and provide ongoing training and development.
• Participate in strategic planning to improve outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Attend housing meetings, trainings and workshops for DHS programs.
