Job summary

The Housing Authority County of San Joaquin is seeking a Compliance Supervisor to lead administrative duties for the Authority’s Assisted Housing Programs. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of supervisory experience in an assisted housing setting, with strong knowledge of housing regulations and data

Qualifications

• Knowledge of policies, regulations, rules and procedures governing assisted housing programs.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal housing laws including tenant selection, leasing, and evictions.
• Ability to prepare and present ideas clearly, both orally and in writing, with diverse audiences.
• Ability to plan, organize, and schedule work assignments efficiently.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, residents and officials.

Responsibilities

• Enforces policies in HUD-assisted housing programs per applicable plans.
• Verifies information and calculations for total tenant payments; prepares forms and correspondence.
• Maintains case records and enters data into HUD systems per regulations.
• Supervises staff, provides training, and evaluates performance.
• Conducts public presentations and landlord/tenant workshops.
• Oversees rent determinations, occupancy, and program operations.
• Ensures staff coverage and develops work schedules; manages disciplinary actions.
