Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking an Outreach & Engagement Specialist 2 (OES2) to assist homeless individuals in King County with housing attainment. This in-person role requires visiting clients at their locations, providing intensive housing support, referrals, and advocacy with landlords to secure housing and access community resources.

The successful candidate will coordinate services with multiple agencies, maintain HMIS and WellSky records, and participate in staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or similar or 4+ years of relevant experience required.
• 2 years of demonstrated experience in related social services.
• Experience with Coordinated Entry for All (CEA), Rapid Re-Housing (RRH) and partner agencies preferred.
• Experience with trauma-informed care, networking and resourcing building.
• Experience with HMIS entries, exits, and reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outreach to clients living unsheltered in the territory served.
• Provide intensive housing assistance, including referrals and advocacy with managers.
• Coordinate services with other agencies for mental health, employment and rehab services.
• Maintain client case records in Wellsky and HMIS; track data for stakeholders.
