Job summary

Davidson College is seeking a Coordinator for Housing Operations to support daily administrative and operational functions of the Residence Life Office. You will coordinate housing assignments, occupancy updates, and move-in/out coordination to ensure a smooth student residential experience.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, process consistency, and collaborative work with campus partners, including the Assistant Director of Housing Operations, to deliver reliable housing services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in housing operations, residence life, student services, or higher education administration.
• Experience with StarRez or other housing management software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and campus partners.
• Experience with key/access management or residential facilities operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned housing processes, including housing assignments, room changes, cancellations, and occupancy updates.
• Manage housing processes for first-year students, transfer students, study abroad returnees, mid-year transitions, and other assigned populations.
• Coordinate Summer Housing processes, including intern housing and special guest housing.
• Manage waitlists, off-campus permission processes, early arrivals, late stays, and other assigned special housing requests.
• Maintain accurate housing records and communicate housing decisions, deadlines, and requirements to students and campus partners.
• Assist with the implementation of housing timelines and operational procedures established by the Residence Life Office.
