Job summary

Brown University is seeking an Assistant Director for Housing Operations and Projects to optimize StarRez-based processes for graduate housing and the annual lottery. You will coordinate occupancy and billing integrations across campus systems, ensuring smooth selection cycles for both graduate and undergraduate housing.

The role emphasizes analytical data management, process improvement, and close collaboration with the Associate Director of Residential Operations to support special housing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 3–5 years in residential life, housing assignments, or systems management.
• Experience with StarRez or similar housing systems.
• Data management and analysis skills required.
• Advanced StarRez experience (Report Fuel, Dashboards, Portal X) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee StarRez operations ensuring workflow efficiency for graduate housing and lottery.
• Coordinate occupancy and integration between housing, billing and campus databases.
• Support selection cycles for graduate and undergraduate housing.
• Provide technical backing and collaborate with Associate Director of Residential Operations.
• Translate technical processes into user‑friendly guidance for students and staff.
