Job summary

Camillus House in Miami is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily housing operations, including leasing, rent collection, inspections, and maintenance coordination to ensure safe, compliant properties.

Under the direction of the Property Manager, you will coordinate unit turnover, maintain tenant data, assist with notices and reports, and uphold Fair Housing regulations while working with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for tenant interactions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated calmness and effectiveness under pressure.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and property management software (Rent Manager or similar).

Responsibilities

• Assist with housing inspections, including HQS and habitability checks, documenting results accurately.
• Coordinate and follow up on maintenance and service requests with Facilities staff.
• Support rent and client contribution collection, track payments, and assist with reporting.
• Prepare and deliver notices, reports, and documentation related to tenant payments and occupancy.
• Collaborate with staff and tenants to address lease agreements, violations, and recertifications.
• Assist in processing applications, lease execution, and tracking renewals/ expirations.
• Maintain accurate tenant and property data in internal systems, including lease terms and payments.
