Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations at multiple housing sites in Washington. The role includes leasing coordination, tenant relations, and collaboration with the property management team to ensure safe, healthy living environments for residents.

Responsibilities cover applicant screening, rent collection, data entry in Boston Post, and adherence to budget guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to listen and communicate effectively to a diverse group of people in the spirit of compassion.
• Some bookkeeping experience and comfort with data entry.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities for a nonprofit housing context.

Responsibilities

• Promote and foster good relations between staff and services.
• Support Manager in special projects and tasks as needed.
• Prepare meeting minutes and share with staff and services.
• Assist with other staff duties when colleagues are out and cross-train.
• Respond to resident concerns and enforce lease rules with consistency.
• Enter and maintain data in the property management software Boston Post.
• Process invoices and rent payments; assist accounts payable/receivable.
• Maintain an organized filing system and assist with office duties.
• Complete monthly variance reporting and assist in budget adherence.
• Ensure units are rent-ready and meet maintenance standards.
