US Career Partners is seeking a Housing Navigator for our Recuperative Facility SD in San Diego, CA. You will assist individuals experiencing homelessness in finding and securing stable housing options.

You will conduct assessments, build housing provider relationships, help with applications, and advocate for clients through the process with case managers and a team. Strong communication and knowledge of local resources are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree helpful but not required
• Strong understanding of housing resources and policies in the San Diego area
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with diverse populations and addressing complex needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsabilités

• Conduct initial assessments of clients to identify housing needs and barriers
• Develop and maintain relationships with housing providers to identify options
• Assist clients with housing applications and gather documentation
• Provide ongoing support and advocacy through the housing process
• Collaborate with case managers to create individualized housing plans
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and housing outcomes
• Stay informed about housing policies and resources in the area
• Participate in community outreach and partner networking
• Attend regular team meetings and trainings
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager
