Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in social work or related field is required.
• Two years of related experience are required; HIV/AIDS experience preferred.
• HIV 501, HIV 500 and HIV 104 certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Uphold policies per the HOPWA Policies and Procedures Manual.
• Compute utility allowances, tenant rent and housing assistance.
• Coordinate with landlords and meet with property owners to review rules and secure agreements.
• Conduct income verifications and eligibility determinations for certification/recertification.
• Assist clients with identifying housing and negotiating rental agreements.
• Maintain caseload and monitor housing stability with ongoing documentation.
