EF in Pasadena is seeking a Housing Manager for Summer 2027 to oversee residence operations, ensuring a high level of student satisfaction and excellent service. You will coordinate arrivals, assign rooms, and manage a team of Residential Advisors to maintain quality housing and smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates are proactive, communicative, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment, with a focus on safety, hospitality, and problem-solving.

Role: Housing Manager - Summer 2027

Compensation: $1,400 per week

(housing provided and required for the role)

About The Role

In this role, you will assume overall responsibility for the smooth running of the residence and ensure a high level of customer service and student satisfaction.

Your key tasks will consist of, but not be limited to:

• Planning and managing arrivals and departures.
• Allocating accommodations to students and EF staff and keeping accurate records of rooming assignments.
• Ensuring accommodation meets high standards of quality, cleanliness, and comfort.
• Managing a team of Residential Advisors in daily operations and tasks.
• Managing room keys and linen exchange.
• Liaising closely with catering and residence suppliers
• Calculating daily catering requirements, ensuring consistently high-quality meals.
• Coordinating damage checks and collecting compensation.
• Creating staff rotations for meal and night duties.
• Assisting the Campus Manager with student welfare and discipline.
• Responding to problems and emergency situations should they arise.

Preferred Qualifications

• University degree or relevant experience.
• Enthusiastic, organized, and a natural leader.
• Strong communicator.
• Able to work independently and lead a team with little oversight from a manager.
• Decisive – able to act fast and make informed decisions in the moment.
• Passionate about customer service and quality.
• Must be legally able to work in the U.S (United States) or have a work permit.
• Applicants must be age 21 or older
