Job summary

Home Group Limited is seeking a Housing Manager to build trusted relationships with customers across your patch and resolve housing issues from first contact through to resolution. You will take ownership of housing matters and manage anti-social behaviour to keep neighbourhoods safe and welcoming.

You will also carry out estate inspections, work with contractors to keep homes compliant, and collaborate with partners to protect income for reinvestment for reinvestment and growth in our

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management or a similar customer-focused role.
• Confidence managing anti-social behaviour and complex customer situations.
• Knowledge of housing law, safeguarding, and sustaining tenancies.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to take ownership from start to finish.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Salary £32,000 plus 34 days leave, rising to 39, and 2 paid volunteering days each year.

The practical bits

• Working hours Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.00 with some level of flexibility.
• Hybrid role where you will be mostly community based with the ability to work from our Reading office for anchor days where we all meet as a team on Wednesdays and some allowance for a bit of home working.
• You will be joining a small but friendly group of experienced Housing Managers. We are high achievers in team 501 and celebrate success and special occasions regularly.
• You need a vehicle insured for business use, and we pay your mileage.
• You need an Enhanced DBS check that we pay for.
