The Department of the Air Force is seeking a housing program assistant to manage occupancy and termination of government owned housing for both accompanied and unaccompanied units.

Responsibilities include processing inquiries, advising on bedroom eligibility, waiting lists, and on/off-base moves; and preparing documentation related to housing assistance activities. Transcripts verification and accreditation alignment are required as applicable.

The primary purpose of this position is: Perform a variety of assignments related to the occupancy and termination of government owned accompanied and/or unaccompanied housing.

Key Responsibilities

Receives, reviews, and processes advanced inquiries and applications for accompanied and/or unaccompanied units. Advises incoming personnel on types of housing available; eligibility for number of bedrooms; advantage and disadvantage of various housing areas; turn-down options; tenant rights and obligations; applicant's position on waiting list; and procedures for on and off base moves. Processes routine assignments and terminations of accompanied or unaccompanied housing.

Prepares and inputs documentation related to housing assistance activities.
