Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Residential Coordinator for Irving Street Women’s Residence. You will manage the facility on shift, support residents with housing stability, and coordinate services under a HUD Safe Haven model.

The role requires experience in housing support, trauma-informed approaches, and collaboration with a team to deliver life skills and community integration for up to 25 residents.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related area or the equivalent experience in human services.
• One-year direct human service experience.
• Willing to obtain first aid, automated external defibrillator and CPR certifications and keep current.
• Criminal and civil background checks within 30 days of hire.
• Good organizational and planning skills; works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident voices are heard and influence programming.
• Maintain knowledge of program requirements, referral processes, and HUD standards within Safe Haven.
• Develop and monitor housing-first/CTI-based services for housing stability.
• Document all client interactions and maintain HMIS data and files.
• Supervise volunteers and support Residential Case Manager in service delivery.
