Job summary

Prince William County Office of Housing and Community Development seeks a Housing Program Analyst to determine eligibility for the HCV program, calculate income and rent, and manage cases with tenants and landlords. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 4 years of related experience.
• Experience determining eligibility for Housing Choice Voucher Program and related family-based calculations is preferred.
• Intermediate MS Excel and MS Office Suite experience required.
• Experience with Housing Pro Software is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Interview and certify eligibility for initial intake and recertification.
• Calculate rental amounts based on family size, income and allowable expenses.
• Negotiate with landlords and track participant progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case management for all participant families.
• Conduct tenant certification meetings and respond to emails and phone calls.
• Prioritize caseloads and process moves, annual and interim certifications.
