Qualifications

• A high school diploma.
• Two (2) years of relevant paid work experience such as in property management, assisted housing, social services, or similar activity, including one year of related work experience as a Program Specialist I.

Responsibilities

• Determines eligibility for housing assistance for new and existing clients.
• Conducts client interviews and briefings to collect information and educate on requirements and benefits.
• Applies rules, regulations, and policies for eligibility and continuing assistance.
• Performs data entry and maintains client files in audit-ready condition.
• Manages a full caseload with performance aligned to standards (~450 recertifications annually).
• Issues vouchers to clients and coordinates with landlords.
