Job summary

Opportunity Home San Antonio seeks a Project Manager I to oversee affordable housing developments from pre-development through stabilization or acquisition. You will coordinate internal teams and external partners, manage budgets, and ensure timely approvals and reporting for multiple funding sources.

Qualifications include two years of related college coursework or equivalent experience; PM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Two years of college with coursework in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Admin, Accounting, Finance, Law, Real Estate or related field.
  • An additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirements.
  • Project Management Professional Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate development and construction with internal teams and external partners from inception through stabilization or acquisition.
  • Coordinate approvals during pre-development, construction and stabilization phases.
  • Identify and maintain due diligence documentation for funding and financing needs.
  • Review feasibility using proformas, budgets, sources and financing structures.
  • Lead the tax credit and funding coordination with consultants and City agencies.
  • Prepare presentations for the Opportunity Home Board and public entities.
  • Monitor progress, budgets, schedules, and vendor payments throughout development.
