Job summary

Opportunity Home in San Antonio seeks a Project Manager I to oversee the development and construction of affordable housing from pre-development to stabilization or acquisition, coordinating with internal departments and external partners in the San Antonio area.

The role requires collaboration with HUD, TDHCA, the City of San Antonio, and consultants to ensure projects meet goals, budgets, and regulatory requirements while guiding pre-development, financing, design, and construction activities.

Qualifications

• Two years of college with coursework in related field, with substitution possible.
• Experience managing development or rehabilitation of multi-family properties.
• Ability to learn cloud applications and Microsoft Office 365 software.
• Criminal history background check, education and work history verification, and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate development and construction processes with the project team and internal departments.
• Coordinate approvals during pre-development, construction, and stabilization phases.
• Identify and manage due diligence for project funding and financing.
• Review feasibility using proformas, sources, budgets, and financing structures.
• Lead liaison with HUD, TDHCA, and City partners through project life-cycle.
• Monitor construction progress, contracts, and draw processes.
• Prepare and present reports to boards and governmental entities.
