Job summary

HACLA is offering a Development Services internship to support affordable housing initiatives in Los Angeles. The role provides hands‑on exposure to real estate transactions, financial modeling, and project management within HACLA’s Development Services Department.

Candidate responsibilities include assisting with pro‑formas, grant applications, and procurement processes, while gaining experience across redevelopment, acquisitions, and financing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in urban studies, urban planning, real estate, economics, business, finance, government, or public administration.
• One year of experience in real estate development, acquisitions, urban planning, or closely related field.
• Valid California Class C Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze real estate transactions and prepare reports and proposals.
• Assist with development projects, including scheduling, draws, and relocation activities.
• Support financing applications, pro‑formas, and budget/design reviews.
