Job summary

Cedar is building the operating system for urban housing delivery. The Project Designer will develop housing prototypes and iterate design concepts for Cedar Catalog and project teams.

You'll design livable floor plans, adjust catalog products to fit real project needs, and contribute to building a library of standardized elements with engineers and architects—accelerating housing delivery while preserving design intent.

Qualifications

• Familiar with residential design and housing prototyping.
• Ability to translate concepts into buildable plans.
• Experience collaborating across design and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Iterate project design concepts for Design Development.
• Adjust catalog products to fit actual project housing needs with project architects.
• Design housing prototypes in software and Cedar’s catalog design tools.
• Contribute to creating a library of standardized project elements with technical experts.
