Job summary

Cedar is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead 1-3 residential projects from concept through construction administration. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with designers, engineers, and consultants, and guide clients through a rigorous process to deliver best-in-class projects.

The role emphasizes building scalable processes, contributing to Cedar's product catalog software, and maintaining strong client relationships. Reports to the Studio Director.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in an architectural office.
• 6+ years in a project architect or job captain role.
• 4+ years in the residential architecture sector.
• Education: 5-year BArch or MArch degree (preferred).
• Proficiency in design and documentation software (Revit, Autocad, Rhino, Enscape, Bluebeam).

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day execution of one to three residential projects concurrently.
• Gather project data from key stakeholders and manage this data throughout the life of a project.
• Produce and oversee project models, presentations, and documentation through key milestones.
• Lead some projects with 1-2 more junior staff under your direct supervision.
• Curate specifications, product selections, and draw/manage the execution of all details.
• Plan and maintain project schedules and staffing.
• Serve as primary client contact and coordinator for schedules, milestones, and delivery.
