Job summary

True North Recovery in Wasilla, Alaska is seeking a dedicated team member to support the daily operations of our Recovery Residence. The role involves coordinating housekeeping, leading weekly House Meetings, conducting inspections, and organizing random drug testing to maintain a safe, sober living environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to confidentiality and ethical care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist daily operations of the Recovery Residence, coordinate housekeeping tasks and inspections.
  • Lead weekly house meetings and organize random drug testing.
  • Assist with entry/exit procedures and report client issues to the housing manager.
  • Maintain supplies and coordinate purchasing of additional items.
  • Be available for after-hours assistance at the houses when needed.
  • Oversee random house inspections.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Assisting with of daily operations of the Recovery Residence, including managing and coordinating daily housekeeping tasks, leading weekly “House Meetings”, conducting inspections, organizing random drug testing.
  • Assist with all coordinating and execute all entry and exiting procedures.
  • Provide direct support to housing manager, reporting any client issues identified
  • Assist with maintaining supplies stocked and shopping for additional supplies
  • Be available for afterhours assistance at the houses should an emergency arise.
  • Oversee random house inspections.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
  • If in recovery, one year of continuous sobriety prior to hire and active and continuing participation in a recovery support program, such as a 12-step program.
  • Must obtain CDC II OR CDC I & NACA I within 3 years of hire.
  • Valid Alaska driver’s license and insurable under TRUE NORTH RECOVERY INC’s automotive insurance, which requires a driver to be at least 21 years of age.
  • Continued employment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory state and federal background check.

Physical Requirements

This role is primarily performed in an office building with standard office environment and
controlled temperatures. When working outdoors or at a job site the employee may be exposed
to construction equipment or other moving objects/equipment; reference job site specifics. The
employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Employee is frequently
required to sit, stand, walk, talk/hear, see, read, and personally interact with others.
