Job summary

The Housing Coordinator at Community Bridges Inc. will coordinate the SSVF program implementation to rapidly rehouse veterans under Housing First principles and provide case management for self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities include outreach with landlords and housing stakeholders; coordinating financial assistance; establishing landlord partnerships; and delivering direct services and mobile advocacy as needed to support long-term housing stability.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred but not required.
  • 1–3 years of health-care related work experience may be preferred.
  • Arizona Driver’s License required.
  • Clear 39‑month motor vehicle record required.
  • BHT certification per state policy and site procedures.
  • Arizona fingerprint clearance card, site specific.

Job Summary

The Housing Coordinator will coordinate and oversee the implementation of the SSVF (Supportive Services for Veteran Families) program. The program provides a rapid re‑housing solution that focuses on Housing First principles to obtain and retain safe, long‑term housing and provide case management for self‑sufficiency. Responsibilities include outreach and collaboration with landlords, community, and housing stakeholders; coordination of financial assistance for veterans; establishing agreements with landlord partners; and providing direct services and mobile advocacy as needed.

Skills / Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health preferred but not required.
  • 1–3 years of full‑time health‑care related work experience that provides exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations is preferred but not required.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current Arizona Driver’s License.
  • Clear 39‑month motor vehicle record.
  • Certified Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9‑10‑101.33 and CBI clinical policies and procedures.
  • Arizona fingerprint clearance card, site specific.
