Job summary

RIM Recruitment Professionals is seeking a Housing Compliance Specialist to support the HOPWA program in McKeesport, PA. You will determine eligibility, process recertifications, and handle rent/subsidy calculations to ensure grant compliance.

You will maintain confidential client records, coordinate with case managers, landlords, and partners, and contribute to helping clients secure stable housing while engaging in HIV care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher, OR 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience with Section 8 housing and associated paperwork.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and a registered, insured vehicle.
• Self-motivated and able to complete assigned responsibilities independently.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining records and documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance.

Responsibilities

• Determine client eligibility for the HOPWA program.
• Process recertifications on schedule and in line with program requirements.
• Calculate and verify rent and subsidy amounts according to grant standards.
• Prepare and review housing paperwork, including Section 8-related documentation.
• Keep accurate, organized, confidential client records and documentation.

Housing Compliance Specialist, HOPWA Location: McKeesport, PA Job Type: Full-time, hourly (non-exempt) Schedule: Flexible, based on workload Pay: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience

About the Role

As our Housing Compliance Specialist, you will determine program eligibility, process recertifications, and calculate and verify rent and subsidy amounts in accordance with grant standards. We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and committed professional who will help clients achieve and maintain stable housing that supports their engagement in HIV care.
