CTH Recruiting seeks a Housing Compliance Specialist – HOPWA to determine eligibility, process recertifications, and verify rent calculations under grant standards. This full-time hourly role supports clients and housing partners to ensure accurate records and compliance.

You will collaborate with clients, case managers, landlords, and colleagues to maintain documentation and deliver timely, compassionate service while upholding program requirements.

Competenze

• Associate degree or higher, or at least one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and a registered, insured vehicle.
• Experience with Section 8 housing and related paperwork.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
• Strong organization and recordkeeping skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance is preferred.

HOPWA Eligibility & Rent Assistance Specialist

Schedule: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt; flexible based on workload

Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience

The Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) program helps address housing needs for low-income people living with HIV. Stable housing can help people maintain access to health care and support their overall well-being.

As a Housing Compliance Specialist – HOPWA , you’ll determine program eligibility, process recertifications, and calculate and verify rent and subsidy amounts in accordance with grant standards. This role is a good fit for a compassionate, organized professional who can handle detailed documentation and communicate effectively with clients and housing partners.
