Job summary

Children’s Rescue Fund seeks a Social Services Supervisor in Bronx, NY to oversee Case Managers delivering housing and supportive services to families in temporary shelter. You will ensure timely ILP completion, adherence to CRF, DHS, and OTDA standards, and staff training and supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a BA in Social Work with at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong CARES knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with community providers to promote self-sufficiency and permanent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work is required.
• Minimum two years of related experience, preferably with multi-problem families.
• Proficiency with CARES and experience in shelter settings with high-risk families.
• Ability to collaborate with community providers and translate policies into practice.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and supervisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Case Managers to ensure housing and service plans are met.
• Provide field orientation and on-the-job training for staff.
• Develop ILP completion and placement goals with contracted timelines.
• Ensure compliance with CRF, DHS, and OTDA guidelines and mandates.
• Monitor staff performance and conduct evaluations.
• Coordinate with housing, health, and social services providers.
