Job summary

NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development is seeking a Budget Analyst for the Division of Budget-Expense Unit to manage the City Housing Assistance Program funding, monitor expenditures, and analyze trends. Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities.
• High school graduation with six years of related experience in community work or related duties.
• Education and/or experience equivalent to the first two options, with at least one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage budget and projections for the City Housing Assistance Program, liaising with other divisions to enable cross-functional collaboration.
• Contribute to the division's strategic plan by identifying goals, stakeholders, and milestones; outline tasks and monitor execution.
• Collect and analyze data across areas to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance project management processes within the division.
• Report on project outcomes to senior management.
