Job summary

AltaPointe Health is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to support Adult Residential Services and Adult Community Services housing activities, ensuring day-to-day and month-end accounting tasks are completed accurately.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business and at least two years of accounting experience, with strong Excel and ERP-like system skills. Knowledge of HUD rules and HIPAA compliance is a plus, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks and strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business; two years accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to process and analyze large volumes of electronic data.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Electronic Health Record systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of HUD rules and regulations is a plus; HIPAA familiarity is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bank reconciliations.
• Prepare worksheets and lead schedules supporting entries to ledgers and journals.
• Prepare journal entries to reflect transactions in the books of entry.
• Assist in the preparation of checks and deposits.
• Other accounting duties as assigned.
