Job summary

Vincentian CARES is seeking a Housing Specialist I in Clearwater, FL to provide direct services helping eligible clients locate affordable housing. You will network with landlords, manage housing stock listings, and coordinate housing inspections to support veterans in rapid re-housing efforts.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, liaising with agencies, and ensuring client documentation meets program requirements.

Qualifications

• Able to speak, write and understand English
• Minimum 2 years’ experience serving homeless or at‑risk families/individuals in crisis
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage landlords to build affordable housing stock for RRH programs
• Assist families in locating/renting housing and arranging financing
• Maintain landlord/client database and coordinate housing inspections
• Collaborate with agencies and represent Vincentian CARES at community events

Education

Bachelor’s degree in social work
