Job summary

Ampact, via Heading Home Corps, seeks a Housing Resource Navigator to support Minnesotans facing homelessness or housing insecurity. You will work with nonprofit partners to guide participants toward safe housing, set goals, and connect them with resources.

Training and ongoing development are provided as you help build brighter futures. Position supports AmeriCorps members with a regular paycheck (stipend) every two weeks and access to education awards.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email and online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with participants.
• Guide participants in creating housing-related goals.
• Track participant progress.
• Connect participants with social service resources and programs.
• Commit to your own growth through training and professional development.
• Share your experience with the community.
