Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Housewide RN Nursing Supervisor to lead nursing staff and programs, promoting patient care quality and regulatory compliance on night shifts. The role emphasizes frontline supervision, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and daily operations across the department.

The incumbent will drive performance, mentor nurses, and support hospital operations during the 7pm–7:30am night shift, Friday and every other weekend. RN licensure and BSN are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s) of practice.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline, department-based nursing staff and team.
• Supervise daily operations and house functions of assigned department.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and assignments; ensure adequate coverage.
• Contribute to performance management and staff development processes.
• Assist in daily adherence to regulatory requirements and patient care quality.

• This position is Friday and Saturday every other weekend

The Housewide RN Nursing Supervisor is a licensed registered nurse (RN) accountable for leading, managing & advancing people, processes & / or programs that support direct or indirect patient care. The NL promotes & advocates for patients, nurses / colleagues & the practice of nursing as defined by clinical area(s) of expertise & assignment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment. Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
• Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.
