Delaware North Gaming is hiring a Houseperson at The Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire. The role is available as full-time or part-time with morning and evening shifts to keep the property organized, sanitized, and up to company standards.

Typical pay is $17.50 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay, training opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible schedules. Prior hospitality experience is preferred but not required.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• No experience or diploma required.
• At least one year of working in the hospitality industry is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Clean building floors, carpets, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms; remove dirty linens and transport to laundry.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Notify managers of needed repairs or additions to building operations systems.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies; deliver cribs and other items as requested.

The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time or part-time Houseperson to join our team at The Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire. As a Houseperson, you will work to ensure the property is kept organized, sanitized, and up to company standards.

This position will include both Morning and Evening shifts every week.

Pay

$17.50 - $17.50 / hour

What will you do?

• Clean building floors, carpets, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms; remove dirty linens from guest rooms and transport to the laundry room; take clean linens to housekeeping carts and storage closets.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify managers of needed repairs or additions to building operations systems.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies; deliver cribs, rollaways, and additional items as requested.

More about you

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• No experience or diploma required.
• At least one year of working in the hospitality industry is preferred.

Physical requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
