Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is seeking full-time Hotel Front Desk Supervisors to join our team at the Sheraton Hotel in Nashua, New Hampshire. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will oversee front desk operations and deliver exceptional service to our guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hospitality experience with front desk exposure.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with property management systems is a plus.
• Must be fluent in English; no college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise the front desk team to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Guide staff in handling difficult problems and guest complaints.
• Implement policies and service standards with management.
• Prepare work schedules and assign duties for administrative staff.
• Coordinate with the housekeeping department.

$19.00 - $21.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Train and supervise the front desk team members to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures; evaluate team members' job performance and recommend appropriate rewards or corrective actions
• Provide team members with guidance on handling difficult problems or resolving escalated guest complaints
• Implement policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with management
• Prepare and issue work schedules, deadlines, and duty assignments for office or administrative team members
• Coordinate with the housekeeping department

More about you

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• At least 2 years' experience in hospitality; front desk experience is preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Computer literate in MS Office programs; some experience with property management systems is preferred
• Must be fluent in the English language, both spoken and written
• No college degree required
• Available to work nights and weekends

Physical requirements

• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, as well as bend and climb stairs throughout shifts
• Ability to lift to 30 pounds as needed
