Solé Miami, part of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Houseperson to maintain cleanliness and order in guest areas and support room attendants with deliveries such as towels and amenities. You will help keep public areas pristine and ensure guest rooms are stocked and ready for occupancy.

The ideal candidate embraces the hotel culture, is dependable, and willing to learn. This on-site role offers opportunities within a boutique beachfront property and a collaborative team environment.

Mansioni

• Stock and prepare room attendant carts with supplies to complete rooms.
• Maintain equipment (vacuum and cleaning tools) and empty waste bags as needed.
• Notify supervisor when supplies run short.
• Remove trash and soiled linens from carts; ensure public areas meet hotel standards.
• Clean furniture, elevators, glass, planters in public areas; sweep and vacuum floors and hallways.
• Report maintenance issues and process repair orders; assist with Lost and Found as needed.
• Replenish storeroom supplies and rotate linens; keep storerooms organized.

A day in the life...

As our Houseperson, you are responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all assigned areas and equipment. You will also be responsible for delivering items to guestrooms, such as extra towels, shampoo/conditioner, etc.

To be successful in the Houeseperson position, you...

• are responsible for stocking room attendant carts with adequate supplies to complete assigned rooms and maintain an efficient cleaning cart.
• maintain equipment such as vacuum and cleaning equipment. Empty vacuum cleaner bag as necessary.
• notify supervisor when shortage of supplies is noticed.
• remove trash and dirty linens from room attendant’s carts.
• insure that hotel public areas are to hotel standards.
• clean furniture, elevators, glass, planters, etc. in public areas such as lobby, pool and public restrooms. Sweep and vacuum floors, hallways and stairwells.
• report maintenance problems and complete work repair orders.
• spot clean walls, carpets, light fixtures and room attendant carts at the end of the day.
• turn in articles left in rooms to management for "Lost and Found" following hotel procedures.
• are responsible for replenishing supply storerooms in the hotel; Rotate linens in storerooms.
• maintain shelf organization in the storerooms.
• take corrective action where required to improve safety of work areas.
• deliver special request items such as cribs to guest rooms.
• keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.

Requirements

• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
