Job summary

Solé Miami is seeking a Busser / Food Runner to support our fine dining team on the Sunny Isles beachfront. You will clear tables, refill water, reset tables for the next service, and assist servers by transporting food from the kitchen to the dining room.

We value guests’ experiences and require a team member with strong hospitality skills, reliability, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Past experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours.
• Excellent guest service skills and attention to detail.
• Food Handler Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Clear tables and reset for the next service.
• Provide water and bread, transport food from kitchen to dining room.
• Restock utensils and dining room supplies.
• Polish glasses and silverware; ensure water glasses are full.
• Greet guests and assist servers as needed.

A day in the life..

As a Busser / Food Runner, you are an integral part of the success of our fine dining restaurant. You clear tables, removing plates, utensils and drinkware. You ensure diners' water glasses are full, reset tables for the next service and may assist servers in bringing food to the table. You restock utensils, napkins and other dining room needs.

To be successful in the Busser / Food Runner position, you...

• deliver bread and water to all guests.
• clear all tables of dirty dishes, silverware, glassware and dirty linen.
• polish all glasses and silverware to be used in the dining room.
• reset tables for new guests.
• responsible for transporting all necessary food items from the kitchen to the dining room as soon as possible while following all standards of service.
• provides customer service to external guests and internal guests, as well as greeting guests who pass by your area.
• clean and maintain an organized work area.
• ensure that all closing duties are completed.
