Job summary

Hyatt's Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson to maintain cleanliness across the property. The role requires clear communication, physical ability to lift and move items, and the stamina to work in a fast-paced environment both indoors and outdoors.

Typical shifts include 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays and 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends, with starting wage $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, pull, push and carry a moderate amount of weight.
• Must be able to stand on feet throughout shift.
• Must be able to work outdoors on a large hotel property.
• Prior hotel or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers soiled linen, garbage, and deposits in respective areas.
• Delivers housekeeping deliveries to housekeeping storage.
• Strip beds and rooms after guest departures.
• Delivers linen to housekeeping RO and removes trash and dirty linen from carts.
• Must be able to stand on feet throughout shift.
• Must be outdoors on and off throughout shifts (hotel spread out).
• Must be able to lift/pull/push a moderate amount of weight.

The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull, push, and carry a moderate amount of weight. This is a fast-paced position. Must be able to work outside

• Gathers soiled linen, garbage, and deposits in respective areas.
• Delivers hskp deliveries to hskp storage
• Strip beds and rooms after guest departures
• Delivers linen to hskp RA throughout the day and removes the trash and dirty linen from cart
• Must be able to stand on feet throughout shift
• Must be able to be outdoors on and off throughout shifts (our hotel is spread out on a large amount of property)
• Must be able to lift/pull/push a moderate amount of weight
• Must be able to work 8 am - 4:30 pm during week and 8:30 am - 5 pm during weekends
• Prior hotel or customer service experience preferred
