Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix are seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson to maintain the cleanliness of the hotel. The role requires standing, outdoor work, and the ability to lift a moderate amount of weight.

Shifts are typically Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p and Sat/Sun 8:30a-5p, and is a fast-paced position that may require outdoor work. Responsibilities include gathering soiled linen, delivering to storage, stripping beds, and transporting linens and trash.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand on feet throughout shift.
• Must be outdoors on and off throughout shifts (our hotel is spread out on a large property).
• Must be able to lift/pull/push a moderate amount of weight.
• Must be able to work 8 am - 4:30 pm during week and 8:30 am - 5 pm during weekends.
• Prior hotel or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers soiled linen, garbage, and deposits in respective areas.
• Delivers hskp deliveries to hskp storage
• Strip beds and rooms after guest departures
• Delivers linen to hskp RA throughout the day and removes the trash and dirty linen from cart

The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull, push, and carry a moderate amount of weight. This is a fast-paced position. Must be able to work outside
