Job summary

Hyatt Hotels and Resorts is seeking an Event Concierge at Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort to act as the liaison between Event Sales/Planning and the on-site contact. The role is highly visible and central to addressing guest needs and event details, requiring knowledge of meeting facilities and group dynamics.

The position demands a customer-first mindset, excellent verbal communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push up to ~25 lbs.
• Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Event Concierge is the liaison between Event Sales and/or Event Planning Manager and the on-site meeting contact. This position is highly visible and the central point for handling and addressing special needs or requests. It requires detailed knowledge of the hotel meeting facilities, group dynamics, and event details.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.


• Refined verbal communication skills.


• Ability to stand for long periods of time.


• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (approx.. 25 lbs.)


• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
