Job summary

Residence Inn Providence Lincoln is seeking a Houseperson to support guest experience by cleaning and maintaining all interior and exterior corridors and public areas. You may assist room attendants and ensure brand standards are met with a strong eye for detail.

Responsibilities include cleaning public areas, stocking supplies, reporting issues, and assisting the housekeeping team. The role requires good English and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe storage.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums and washers.
• Ability to understand and speak some English.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and remove linens; note items needing immediate cleaning.
• Clean public areas per brand standards (hallways, elevators, service areas, stairways).
• Assist housekeepers and maintenance team as needed.
• Stock linen and supplies to maintain par levels.
• Perform deep cleaning or preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Clean designated areas including restrooms and meeting rooms.
• Report missing items, damage, or mechanical problems to management.
• Log guest property left in rooms or public spaces.
• Complete tasks with allocated MPRs.
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly manner.
