Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Highline Vail is seeking an Evening Houseperson to maintain the cleanliness of public areas, restrooms, and event spaces. You will assist with setting up and breaking down rooms, restocking linen, and collaborating with Front Desk and Housekeeping teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The role requires flexible availability to work evenings, with physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk for extended periods.
• Friendly and professional interaction with guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas, hallways, and meeting spaces.
• Clean and stock restrooms, ensuring they remain well‑maintained and hygienic throughout the shift.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down event rooms and meeting spaces.
• Stock and replenish linen closets and supplies for housekeeping and other departments.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from designated areas.
• Respond promptly to guest and staff requests for assistance with housekeeping or maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with the Front Desk and Housekeeping teams to ensure a smooth and seamless guest experience.
• Conduct light maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing light bulbs or addressing minor repairs.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a clean and hazard‑free environment.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management or supervisors to support hotel operations.
