Job summary

Bellmoor Inn & Spa in Rehoboth Beach, DE is seeking a hotel Room Attendant to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities include thorough cleaning, restocking amenities, assisting guests, and supporting safety procedures. A team player with attention to detail is preferred; training may be provided to ensure consistent service aligned with hotel standards.

Qualifications

• Thorough cleaning of restrooms, hallways, stairwells, foyers and elevators.
• Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash from guest rooms.
• Respond to guest questions and provide directions and information as requested.
• Provide instruction/guidance for guest and employee safety in emergencies.
• Attend meetings/training as required by management.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean restrooms, hallways, stairwells, foyers and elevators which includes vacuuming, dusting, polishing, straightening furniture and decor, cleaning/sanitizing surfaces and waste removal.
• Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash from guest rooms.
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
• Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
• Obtain amenities and supplies for room attendants.
• Turn mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.
• Respond to guest questions and provide guest assistance, directions, and information as requested.
• Provide instruction/guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency situations.
• Support the department in any area that will maintain the building and guest service to hotel standards.
• Assist shampooers with the relocation of furniture.
• Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to the Safety/Security department.
• Must be ready to step in and support coworkers and team as needed to ensure efficient operation.
• Performs special assignments and projects as requested.
• Attend meetings/training as required by management.
