Job summary

Mohegan Sun seeks a dedicated events setup associate to physically establish environments for banquets and conventions inside or near the Convention Center. You will handle basic event equipment and assist guests with moving materials, ensuring spaces remain clean and ready for use.

Responsibilities include refreshing rooms per instructions, complying with Fire Marshal requirements, and assisting with off-site events as needed. Requires a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle physical responsibilities involved with moving and placing event space equipment, including tables, chairs, podiums and other equipment.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Physically establish the environment for all events, including basic event equipment for banquets/conventions inside or outside the Convention Center.
• Assist in monitoring the event space for cleanliness or maintenance and assist guests with movement of equipment, materials or boxes as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage rooms and back-of-house areas for the Ballroom and Convention Center.
