Job summary

Kapalua, The Bay Course in Lahaina, HI, seeks a full-time Houseperson to support our fast-paced golf resort team. As part of Troon, you will perform cleaning, maintenance, and safety tasks, maintain supplies, and help with daily operations, including restrooms and exterior areas.

A valid driver's license and reliable attendance are required; you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a valid driver's license.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Complete cleaning and maintenance duties including sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, trash removal, replacing light bulbs, and window cleaning.
• Notify supervisor of needed supplies.
• Remove trash from premises and assist with emergency cleaning as needed.
• Properly utilize equipment and follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain appropriate levels of cleaning and sanitary supplies for assigned areas.
• Inspect clubhouse and surrounding amenities daily and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow all security procedures and precautions at all times.
• Complete daily work orders in a timely manner.
• Refill dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper, and soap; clean restrooms including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and counters.
• Maintain exterior areas including trash, ash receptacles, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Climb ladders and work at elevated heights when necessary.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Pay

$24.72 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Complete cleaning and maintenance duties including sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, trash removal, replacing light bulbs, and window cleaning
• Notify supervisor of needed supplies
• Remove trash from premises and assist with emergency cleaning as needed
• Properly utilize equipment and follow all safety procedures
• Maintain appropriate levels of cleaning and sanitary supplies for assigned areas
• Inspect clubhouse and surrounding amenities daily and report any issues to supervisor
• Follow all security procedures and precautions at all times
• Complete daily work orders in a timely manner
• Refill dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper, and soap; clean restrooms including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and counters
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas including emptying trash and ash receptacles, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture
• Lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Perform physical tasks including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching as needed
• Work in outdoor weather conditions as required
• Respond to emergencies in a timely manner
• Climb ladders and work at elevated heights when necessary
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Candidate must possess a valid driver's license.
